The Denison Softball Field was built in 1997 and is one of the premier facilities for collegiate softball in NCAA Division III. The field has undergone a number of renovations and improvements over the last 10 seasons. In 2016, the infield was rebuilt, drainage was updated and graphics were added to the facility detailing the program's successes in conference and NCAA Tournament play. During that renovation, new hitting cages were added beyond the wall in centerfield.
In 2007, lights were added, making Denison one of just a handful of Division III colleges with the capability of playing night games. Lights have been added to the outdoor hitting cages located just beyond center field and chair back seating have been installed to the grandstand behind home plate.
The field has been the host site of eight North Coast Athletic Conference Championship Tournaments and the 2001 NCAA Division III regional championship.
