MEADVILLE, Pa.--  Denison stormed back with three goals in the final 20 minutes of the second half to stun Allegheny College, 3-2 at Frank B. Fuhrer Field.  The Big Red improves to 3-5 and 1-0 in North Coast Athletic Conference play while the Gators drop to 3-5 and 0-1 in the NCAC.

Trailing 2-0 with just slightly over 20 minutes to play, Denison's Jordan Williams cashed on a set piece after David Jaben sent the corner kick into the box where it was received by Max Haupt who fed Williams for the goal.

Three minutes later, Will Rudolph's cross to Luis Zamora proved to be the equalizer as Zamora cashed in on his first goal of the 2017 campaign.  Just like that, with 16 minutes to play, Denison and Allegheny were knotted at 2-2.

In the 84th minute, Zamora sent a cross into the box where the 6'6" Rudolph was waiting and able to deposit the eventual game-winner.

Over the final six minutes, Allegheny attempted three shots and had four corner kicks but the Big Red managed to withstand the drama to come away with a critical conference victory.

First-year goalkeeper Dylan Brown played all 90 minutes and finished with seven saves.  Allegheny's David Stekla recorded two saves while playing the entire match.  The Gators held a 20-9 advantage in shots but DU out-cornered Allegheny 10-9.

Zamora led DU with three shots.  Rudolph and Williams each attempted a pair.  Both of Rudolph's attempts were on-goal.

Denison returns to Granville on Wednesday, Sept. 27 to host Thomas More at 4:30 p.m. at Barclay-Thomsen Field.  That will mark the final non-conference match of the season for the Big Red as their final eight matches will come from NCAC opponents.
