CLEVELAND, Ohio – Denison men's soccer secured four athletes on the 2017 All-North Coast Athletic Conference team, including senior Jordan Williams and junior Luis Zamora earning first-team honors.

Williams, a four-time All-NCAC honoree, started in all 18 games for the Big Red this season. The Charlotte, N.C. native set a new career-high with six goals in his senior campaign, a total that led the team and finished in a tie for fifth in the NCAC. He also led DU with three game-winning goals on the season, headlined by 1-0 victories over the University of Mount Union and Thomas More College.

After receiving second-team honors in his freshman season, Zamora put together his best season yet in 2017, leading the Big Red with 14 points, while recording four assists and a career-high five goals. The Stamford, Conn. native added a goal and an assist in Denison's 3-2 comeback win at Allegheny College on Sept. 23.

The Big Red defense was also recognized as senior Jasdeep Khaira was selected to the All-NCAC second-team and junior David Jaben earned honorable mention honors, both making their all-conference debut. Khaira started 14 games for the Big Red this season and tallied career-bests in goals (2), points (5) and shots (10). He connected on the first game-winner of his career when DU defeated Hiram College 3-1 on Oct. 25.

Starting in every game this season, Jaben led a defense that secured seven shutouts in 2017 and outscored the competition 18-11 in conference play. The Waynesville, N.C. native totaled the first goal of his career on Oct. 17 in a 3-3 tie at Wabash College.
