SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- The Denison men's tennis team picked up a convincing 8-1 win over North Coast Athletic Conference West Division foe Wittenberg on Tuesday afternoon.

The Big Red jumped out to a commanding 3-0 match lead after sweeping doubles play. The top doubles team of Kevin Brown and Blake Burstein racked up their sixth-consecutive win with an 8-3 decision over Luke Minard and Timmy McNulty. Colin Bahin and Danish Siddiquie were also 8-3 winners at the third flight, while Jamie McDonald and Owen Smith collected an 8-2 victory at No. 2 doubles.

DU's five singles wins all came in straight sets. Siddiquie posted his fourth singles win in a row after a 6-1, 6-1 decision at the fourth flight. Smith was also a 6-1, 6-1 victor at third singles, while McDonald defeated Minard via 6-1, 6-0 scores. Burstein also surrendered just one point (6-0, 6-1) in his win at No. 5, while Costas Alevizopoulos earned a 6-2, 6-0 decision at the sixth flight.
