(L-R) Kevin Brown, Jamie McDonald, Julian Janczak and Danish Siddiquie

Four members of the Denison University men's tennis team received Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete status following the completion of the 2016-17 season. In addition, the Big Red also earned All-Academic Team honors after compiling a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.20 or better.

The four honorees were junior Jamie McDonald, sophomore Kevin Brown and freshmen Julian Janczak and Danish Siddiquie. McDonald is making his third appearance on the all-academic list, while Brown is a two-time recipient. To qualify, an athlete must be a varsity letter winner, have a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.
