In doubles play, Oberlin's Camron Cohen and Stephen Gruppuso, the central region's 10th ranked pairing, defeated Kevin Brown and Blake Burstein in top flight doubles, 8-2. The Big Red came storming back in No. 2 doubles as Jamie McDonald and Mitchell Thai tallied an 8-3 win over Manickam Manickam and Michael Drougas, 8-3. Vlad Rotnov and Brian Weisberg also took No. 3 doubles from the Yeomen, defeating Levi Kimmel and Robert Gittings, 8-5, to take a 2-1 advantage heading to singles play.

On the singles courts, Rotnov improved to 9-5 in top flight singles on the season as he defeated Drougas in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2. In No. 3 singles, Brown dropped the first set to Zachary Vaughn, 4-6, but rallied to win the final two sets, 7-6, 6-0.

No. 4 singles started strong for Patrick McGuigan with a 6-3 first set victory, but Oberlin's Manickam tied the sets at one each after taking the second set, 6-4. In the third and final set, McGuigan secured the victory with a 6-3 win in the third set.

Danish Siddiquie would earn the final Big Red win on the No. 5 court, defeating Cohen, 6-4, 6-1.
