The Denison men's track and field team competed at the annual All-Ohio Championship hosted by Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. The Big Red finished in 16th place with 10 points.
Sophomore Lester Harris led the scoring with a third-place finish in the triple jump after completing a jump of 44'3.50". That mark landed Harris third among 15 athletes in the event. The other four points of the event came in the distance medley relay. The group of Mitch Keller, Chris Todd, Ryan Keller and Zach Cove combined for a time of 10:37.18, which landed them in fifth place overall.
The sixth DU athlete that competed at the All-Ohio meet was junior Sam Beech. Beech finished the 5,000-meter run in 11th place with a time of 15:48.82.
Mount Union won the event with 141 points, while Ohio Wesleyan took home second with 127 tallies. John Carroll was third with 72 points, while Ohio Northern (53) and Otterbein (47) rounded out the top five.
Denison returns to action next weekend at the Kenyon College Classic in Gambier, Ohio.
