The Denison men's track & field team finished in a tie for seventh place after scoring 21 points at the 2015 North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship held at DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind.
The Big Red's top performance of the day came in the 4x400 relay where the foursome of Mitch Keller, Ryan Keller, Ethan George and Ian Mulmat took fourth with a time of 3:31.34. That performance earned Denison five points. The Keller twins also had strong showings in the mile. Mitch finished the event in 4:41.09, while Ryan clocked in at 4:44.88.
Another highlight for the Big Red came in the 3,000-meter run where sophomore Jake Dennie posted a personal record. Dennie clocked in at 8:49.76 which moved him into eighth on the school's top performers list. Junior Sam Beech ran the 3,000 with Dennie and finished with a time of 9:09.27.
Wabash took home the team title for the fifth-straight year after compiling 230.83 points. Ohio Wesleyan was second with 197.83 tallies, while Wittenberg (74) and DePauw (55) took third and fourth, respectively. Spots five through nine were occupied by Oberlin (49.33), Allegheny (38), Denison (21), Kenyon (21) and Wooster (14).
