JEROMESVILLE, Ohio—Denison placed second at the Wooster Spring Invitational held at Mohican Hills Golf Club.  The Big Red was only three strokes off the pace set by team champion Carnegie Mellon.  Denison posted a 36-hole total of 656 while CMU checked in at 653.  Wooster, who led after round one, finished third at 662.

The winds were kicked up a notch and the scores reflected that as scores were up on Sunday.  In round two, Denison was led by Emmy Timberlake and Nicole Wetoska who fired matching 81s.  DU's first round leader, Sophie Kollin, carded an 83 to finish in a tie for third place.  Anne Miller shot an 86 and Tina Berardi followed with an 88.

Denison's individual entries were led by Sammy Seibel who followed her 89 on Saturday with an 82 on Sunday.  Alexandra Mills shot an 88 and Moe Madar posted a 94.

Carnegie Mellon's Summer Kitahara was the medalist at 14-over par (158).
