A pair of 8-4 victories followed for the Big Red as Ashley Hammons and Charlotte Purnode defeated Brooke Butterworth and Sydney Simmons in No. 2 doubles, while Madeline Hart and Courtney Brown earned the same win in No. 3 play over Lauren Corcoran and Meryl Reams.

In singles action, Hawley took No. 1 singles with a 6-3, 7-5 victory over OWU's Corcoran, and Alsup followed on the No. 2 court with a 6-2, 6-3 defeat of D'Alewyn.

In No. 4 singles play, Ohio Wesleyan's Butterworth took the first set over Hammons, 6-2, but the junior rallied in the final two sets to win the match, 2-6, 6-2, 6-4. On the final two courts of the night, a pair of sweeps took place when Purnode defeated Reams 6-0, 6-0 and freshman Devin Gramley did the same to OWU's Diamond Person.
