OBERLIN, Ohio--  Denison women's cross country placed 12th out of 26 teams at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble on Saturday morning at the Oberlin College Cross Country Course.  Denison finished with 361 points, 41 points shy of 11th place Rose-Hulman.  Oberlin defended its team championship with 77 points.

Denison moved up six spots over last year's 18th place finish at the Inter-Regional Rumble.  They also showed a 150-point improvement on the scoreboard.

Emily Willson led Denison with a 37th place finish and a time of 23:26.1.  Wilson posted a pace of 6:17 per mile.  Another first-year, Meagan Balch, followed in 40th place as she was just five seconds behind Wilson at 23:31.3.

Erin O'Connor checked in third for Denison and 71st out of 313 runners with a 23:58.1.  The Big Red's fourth and fifth scores came from Tommy Solberg (25:01.8) and Sarah Radziewicz (25:21.2).  The Denison lineup was rounded out by Stefanie Rodrigues' time of 31:26.3.
