CLEVELAND, Ohio – Denison's Will Krushena was named the NCAC Player of the Week following a six-RBI performance over a three-game stretch this past week against Ferrum College and Alfred State. This is Krushena's second NCAC weekly honor of his career and the first for this season.

Opening the week with a 6-5 victory on Monday at Ferrum, Krushena assisted the Big Red rally at the plate, going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. The junior followed that up with five RBIs in a doubleheader sweep of Alfred State, leading DU in that category.

Krushena's biggest moment came in game two of the doubleheader when he connected on a two-out, two-RBI double to right center in the fifth that gave the Big Red the 2-1 lead, and eventually the victory, 7-2. The Bloomfield Hills, Mich. native finished the week batting .364 with four hits, three doubles, six runs batted in and two walks.

The Big Red will return to action this Saturday, March 9 when they welcome Wilmington College to Big Red Field for their home opener at 1:30 p.m.
