CLEVELAND, Ohio - Denison junior Will Krushena was named the North Coast Athletic Conference's Player of the Week for the second time this season after helping the Big Red get off to their hottest start in program history at 21-2. This is also Krushena's third NCAC POW honor for his career.

Currently riding a 23-game hitting streak to start the season, Krushena opened the week with a pair of RBIs in a 4-for-8 effort against Wittenberg where the Big Red earned their first conference sweep of the season. After tallying his third home run of the season and three runs driven in against DePauw on Wednesday, the junior rounded out his stellar week with two doubles on four hits and two RBIs in Denison's weekend sweep of Allegheny on Saturday.

Finishing the week 10-for-25 with five runs scored and seven runs driven in, the Bloomfield Hills, Mich. native is currently boasting a .409 batting average for the season with 23 runs scored, 35 RBIs and three home runs. He is also four games away from tying the program's all-time consecutive game hitting streak set by Charlie Apfelbach in 2013 at 27-straight games.

Krushena & Co. will return to action on Thursday, April 11 when they travel to Marietta College for a 7 p.m. first-pitch with the Pioneers.
