MEADVILLE, Pa.--  Denison and Allegheny entered Saturday's game tied in the North Coast Athletic Conference standings at 5-10 but the Gators managed to break that tie with a 90-63 win at the Wise Center.

Allegheny's Jordan Rawls entered the game needing 12 points to become the program's all-time leading scorer. He got in foul trouble early but locked up the record late in the second half.  The senior finished with 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting in 19 minutes of action.

Allegheny entered halftime with a 10 point lead but the Gators came out of the locker room on a 10-0 run to jump ahead 48-28 with 18 minutes left.  The Big Red cut the deficit to 12 with 8:09 remaining on a Jack Coulter layup but that is as close as DU would get.

Denison was led in scoring by Conor Fenton who finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Jack Olson played a strong second half and finished with 10 points and seven boards in 13 minutes off the bench.  Freeman Brou and Coulter scored eight points apiece while Matt Gerics chipped in six points.

Allegheny was led in scoring by Brian Roberts, Jr. who finished with 19 points and was 3-of-5 from 3-point range.  Rawls finished with 17 while Jordan Greynolds added 15.

The Big Red returns to action on Wednesday (Feb. 19) when they host DePauw University at 6 p.m. at Livingston Gymnasium.
