For the fifth and sixth time, this season a Denison men's lacrosse player has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Team of the Week.
Pittroff racked up a career-high nine assists in the 23-9 victory over Wooster and Davy scored eight goals on only eight shots against the Fighting Scots.
Against Wittenberg, Pittroff scored three goals while leading the team with six assists. He moved into third place on Denison's career points list (228) against the Tigers. Davy pumped in five goals against Wittenberg while chipping in one assist.
Davy has scored 40 goals in 14 games this season while Pittroff has totaled 23 goals and 63 assists in 14 contests. He ranks second in NCAA Division III with 4.50 assists per game.
Denison is 12-2 and ranked 11th in the latest USILA Division III Top-20 poll. They will close out the regular season this week with road games at Hiram (April 23) and at Ohio Wesleyan (April 27).
