CLEVELAND, Ohio – Denison men's track & field was honored by the North Coast Athletic Conference on Monday afternoon as senior Bryce Stricker was named the NCAC Field Athlete of the Week after claiming a pair of top-two finishes this past weekend at Wooster.
Helping the Big Red capture their first team victory of the season at the Fighting Scots Invitational on Saturday, Stricker's best performance came in the weight throw event where he took first overall with a maximum effort of 52'5.25" (15.98 meters). In the shot put, Stricker finished in second place with a distance of 43'11.75" (13.40 meters) to lead Denison in both events.
